The Best Upcoming Xbox Series X Exclusive Games to Play

Both upcoming consoles from Xbox and PlayStation are pretty similar in terms of specs and value but certain key features set them apart. The exclusive games you can find on any of the two are a major advantage if you’re in love with a certain title. For the longest time, PlayStation had the upper hand in the exclusive game but Xbox is catching up quickly, as we can notice from Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda.

Whilst current Bethesda games will continue their agreement and stay available on all current platforms, Xbox still has some exciting exclusives. In this article, we’ll highlight the five best exclusive games that you can play on the upcoming Xbox Series X.

Xbox Series X vs. Other Options
Firstly, let’s address why Xbox Series X is a good option for you. If we take a look from above at the specs from the upcoming Xbox and PlayStation flagships, they are pretty much the same. Whilst the Series X is slightly more powerful than the PS 5, the difference won’t be felt. It has an 8-core 3.8GHz processor, 16GB DDR6, and 1TB of storage with backward compatibility, and up to 8K resolution. The PS 5 has similar specs, making both consoles a viable option.

However, when we compare these consoles to other gaming devices such as a PC or even a smartphone, we can notice one major limitation, the consoles can only run games. Most smartphones are pretty powerful and can run lots of games but they are also a great device for entertainment, browsing, and even work.

If you have an android device you can download lots of free games like the casino ones and even many Triple-A titles like Fortnite. An app like the Gaminator free slots is great if you want to play casino games on your phone at any time of the day. This is not necessarily possible on consoles.

But, gaming consoles are a great option if you want the middle ground option between casual gaming and advanced PC gaming. That being said, let’s take a look at the best upcoming Xbox Series X exclusives.

Halo Infinite
Yes, if you’re a huge fan of the Halo franchise, you won’t be able to play the upcoming Halo Infinite unless you’re on a Microsoft platform. This means that only Xbox and Windows users will have access to the game when it releases this year, in December. This is not necessarily news as past Halo titles weren’t available outside of the Microsoft realm either.

Forza Motorsport 8

The upcoming Forza Motorsport game from 2021 will also be an exclusive as expected since the Xbox Game Studio is one of the developers. Whilst this game is not numbered, it is unofficially called the Forza Motorsport 8 by the public. Whilst this game will not bring something revolutionary to the series, it’s expected to be a revamp of the Forza concept. A PS5 exclusive equivalent to Forza is the Gran Turismo 7 so keep that in mind.

State of Decay 3
The State of Decay series is a highly beloved one both by critics but also by players. The trailer drop for State of Decay 3 was a surprise to most people as the Xbox Game Studio is still working on content and DLCs for the current State of Decay 2. Whilst there aren’t many things known outside of the announcement, State of Decay 3 is surely going to be a hit title once it arrives on the market.
