Good old Doctor Who Magazine have confirmed the writers for episodes 4 and 5 of the upcoming series of Doctor Who.
Both episodes are currently filming, with Douglas Mackinnon at the helm. We had hoped that this practice of having a director film two episodes might mean that we'd be seeing a return to two-part stories, unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. For now anyway.
Episode 4 is written by Steven Moffat himself. We know that actor Robert Goodman will be guest starring in it, and believe it will see the introduction of Danny Pink. That is unless Steven Moffat stuffs him inside a Dalek (a la Clara 'Oswin' Oswold) and surprises us all with an early appearance.
Episode 5 comes to us from the pen of Steve Thompson. He's the man responsible for The Curse Of The Black Spot, and Journey To The Centre Of The Tardis (still, third time lucky eh?). Guest stars include Pippa Bennett-Warner and Jonathan Bailey (Olly Stevens from Broadchurch).
Whilst we've got you here, take a look at the cover of this months DWM, it's nice...
