Paddington himself is played by Colin Firth. That is to say Colin Firth is providing the voice of a CGI Paddington, as opposed to him being stuffed inside some kind of old-Ewok style costume. Although I'd pay to see that! In fact, let's Kickstarter it right now!!
From this trailer I'm not sure if I like the look of this or not, although I'm pretty sure my kids will love it, and I guess that's the target audience they had in mind...
Paddington stars stars Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Sally Hawkins, Jim Broadbent, Julie Walters and some bloke I've never heard of called Peter Capaldi (? - 'Who' could that be!).
Paddington follows the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear with a passion for all things British, who travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he begins to realise that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the kindly Brown family, who read the label around his neck ('Please look after this bear. Thank you.') and offer him a temporary haven. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.

Paddington arrives on November 28th in the UK and December 12th in the US.
