Here's our first look at next Summer's Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes. 

In case you're wondering this is not a movie about a woman called Dawn who happens to come from a planet inhabited by all kinds of monkeys.
No! It is of course, the sequel to 2011's rather good reworking of Planet Of The Apes.

A motion captured Andy Serkis returns as Caesar, along with Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, and Judy Greer.

Synopsis goes something like this...
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes opens on July 17th in the UK and one week earlier Stateside.
