PIXAR are working on THE INCREDIBLES 3D and RATATOUILLE 3D

Two of the movies I've long hoped Pixar would get round to making sequels to are getting the 3D retrofit treatment.

We've seen 3D re-issues of Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc, and now it's the turn of both The Incredibles and Ratatouille.

Speaking with Screen Daily Pixar's director of 3D production Josh Hollander revealed:
"Right now we're working on 'The Incredibles,' which is a lot of fun in 3D. I'm not sure what the release strategy for it will be. It's been an interesting challenge to work on technology because - while the film was released 10 years ago - the technology is even older as it took four years to make."
I look forward to seeing The Incredibles in 3D, there are many scenes that stick out where it could really add something special. But less obvious for the 3D conversion is Ratatouille, yet Hollander says that's already completed:
"We have a version of 'Ratatouille,' which works really well in 3D and we're trying to figure out exactly what the release strategy for that will be."

How do you feel about this? Would you like to see both movies in 3D back in the multiplex or should Pixar just get on with making sequels to them?
Let us know in the comments below.
