What's that Jaime Lannister is sporting in GAME OF THRONES season 4?

In the last season of Game of Thrones Jaime Lannister, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, lost something. You likely know what I'm talking about but just to give any spoilerphobes a chance I won't get to the point yet so they can leave the page before reading what's coming up.

OK, have they gone? Good. Seriously though, why has anyone not watched season 3 of Game Of Thrones yet? It's not like there's anything better to do is there? Some people, tsch!

For the rest of the sane world we know that in the closing episode of season 4, Jaime arrived back at King's Landing and was reunited with his family. Well, almost all of him was reunited with his family, because he is of course now missing his right hand after it was brutally severed earlier in the season.

However, he's getting a new shiny golden appendage, fit for a Kingslayer, and this is it right here...

This new golden hand has been designed to attach to his right wrist and will be presented to Jaime in the opening episode of season 4, which airs on April 6th.

If you have read the George RR Martin novels you'll know he also receives the new hand in them, but for the TV show this certainly solves the problem of having to make poor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau walk around with his right arm obscured all the time whilst filming, or having to use expensive CGI to remove his hand in post production.

I think you'll agree that it is a fine looking bit of kit indeed! The detail is amazing, including the Lannister themed gold. Very nice, must have cost a bob or two!

How much do you want to bet that replicas will appear on Etsy come April 7th?

What do you think of Jaime's new hand?
