We've known for some time now that a Rambo TV series was in development, but before that happens it looks like we will be seeing one final big screen outing for Sylvester Stallone's second most popular character.
Splendid Film have aquired the rights to the next in the John Rambo saga, and posted this on their website (translated):
With 'Rambo V' Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role. This time he goes up against a Mexican cartel. Stallone, who has also written the screenplay, describes the new Rambo as his version of 'No Country for Old Men.' Like the last film, 'Rambo V' is produced by Avi Lerner ("The Expendables 1-3")No word on when Rambo V is likely to go before the camera, or potential release date, but with Sly's schedule it's not likely we'll see this before 2016, just in time for his 70th Birthday!
