Once upon a time Tim Burton and Nicolas Cage were making a Superman movie together. It all fell apart and never went behind the camera, however lots of pre-production was done, stories written and costumes made.
Jon Schnepp turned to Kickstarter to help raise the money for a documentary exploring the facts behind this aborted attempt to bring the last son of Krypton to the screen, and now we have our first trailer for The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?

I kid on Nic Cage a lot, but this would've been a really interesting project to have seen him in. After all he's mad about the character, even calling his son Kal-El.
