It would be fair to say that Wesley Snipes has had a pretty
difficult decade, but by all accounts he is back in fine form and steals
the show in The Expendables 3. Snipes is currently at Comic-Con doing the promotional tour for that movie, but after his panel MTV News caught up with him and asked if he'd be interested in a return to the character of Blade. Snipes seemed quite enthusiastic:
"I'd be open to it. I think we've got some stones left unturned and there's some latitude left for us to build on and I'd love to get back in the suit again and do some things I've learned how to do now that I didn't know how to do then. I think we're better at making that kind of a film now. Some of the things we did in the early parts of the franchise were experimental and now they've become customary in a lot of the Avengers films and other comic book adaptations."
The rights for Blade reverted back to Marvel Studios
a few years ago, and it's not really the type of movie I can see Disney getting behind, but that's not to say the character rights couldn't be negotiated again.
I would love to see another Blade movie, what about you guys?
