Z Nation (Syfy) Sept. 12
SyFy continue to dip their toe back into the world of SciFi with a new zombie apocalypse show called Z Nation. What sets it apart from The Walking Dead is that Z Nation also has a sense of humour, Check out the trailer and you'll see it's all being played very tongue in cheek...
Z Nation starts three years after the zombie virus has gutted the country, when a team of everyday heroes must transport the only known survivor of the plague from New York to California, where the last functioning viral lab waits for his blood. Although the antibodies he carries are the world's last, best hope for a vaccine, he hides a dark secret that threatens them all. With humankind's survival at stake, the ragtag band embarks on a journey of survival across three thousand miles of rusted-out post-apocalyptic America.
Forever (ABC) Sept. 22
Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd), New York City's star medical examiner, has a secret. He doesn't just study the dead to solve criminal cases, he does it to solve the mystery that has eluded him for 200 years—the answer to his own inexplicable immortality. This long life has given Henry remarkable observation skills which impresses his new partner Detective Jo Martinez (Alana De La Garza). Each week, a new case and their budding friendship will reveal layers of Henry's long and colorful past. Only his best friend and confidant, Abe (Judd Hirsch) knows Henry's secret.
Gotham (Fox) Sept. 22
This is one of the new shows that I'm really looking forward to the most. Gotham will focus on the early years of Commissioner James Gordon (Ben McKenzie), when he was just an idealistic rookie detective, and feature the rogues gallery of villains that made the city infamous.
GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. Starring Ben McKenzie ("Southland," "The O.C."), Donal Logue ("Sons of Anarchy," "Terriers," "Vikings," "Copper") and Jada Pinkett Smith ("The Matrix" films, "HawthoRNe"), GOTHAM follows one cop's rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.
Selfie (ABC) Sept. 30
Here's one to watch to catch up on Karen Gillian (Doctor Who's Amy Pond) and her blossoming US career. After successful movie roles in both Oculus and Guardians of the Galaxy she takes the lead in a new sitcom...

Star Wars: Rebels (DXD) Oct. 3
The Clone Wars was cut short but there's a new Star Wars animated series on the way which is set in the years between Star Wars Episode III and Episode IV. Plus it's supposed to feature elements that will come into play during Episode VII.

The new Arrow spin-off looks to be a sure fire hit. The pilot episode leaked online some time back and there appeared to be unanimous praise.

This one could be good for a laugh. It's on SyFy but doesn't feature sharks or wrestling, so that's a good start...

The colorful folks of Jasper, Alabama are determined, once and for all, to complete their zombie movie, Thr33 Days Dead… now six long years in the making. Based on a town urban legend, their film centers on a group of friends trying to survive a zombie apocalypse in rural Alabama. The series will follow the intrepid and motley crew of amateur filmmakers as they struggle against every obstacle imaginable to get to a final cut of their film…which could someday become a movie!Constantine (NBC) Oct. 24
In Constantine, er, Constantine struggles with his faith as he is haunted by the sins of his past, but he is suddenly thrust into the role of defending humanity from the gathering forces of darkness. It's another adaptation of a DC Comic book, and I for one think it looks great...

Armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and his wickedly naughty wit, he fights the good fight — or at least he did. With his soul already damned to hell, he’s decided to leave his do-gooder life behind, but when demons target Liv (Lucy Griffiths, “True Blood”), the daughter of one of Constantine’s oldest friends, he’s reluctantly thrust back into the fray – and he’ll do whatever it takes to save her. Agent Carter is due to air whilst Agents of SHIELD takes a mid season break, with both series ultimately being tied-in together. I've not been that impressed by AoS but this I'm really looking forward to.
