THE FLASH Season 1 Episode 16 Review: Rogue Time

What time is it? It's Rogue Time! Here's Patrick Delaney with his review of this week's new episode of The Flash...

The Rogue's return in this week's episode and it looks like things are left way worse than before Barry's little split through time.  Last week the Flash ran so fast, he traveled back in time 24 hours and took a page out of Bill Murray's playbook.  Using his knowledge of upcoming events, Barry easily dispatches the Weather Wizard and saves the day!  ...But wait a minute... did no one on this show watch Back to the Future?  By changing one thing, you cause a ripple throughout space and time. This is well documented science fiction people.  So the universe took it upon itself to try and get Cisco laid, and bring the Rogues back, because the episode needs a villain... an on such short notice, who you gonna call?  (psst, it's a Bill Murray joke!)

Super Villain Jazz Hands!

Well, by tricking Cisco into thinking he was going to get laid... he was really kidnapped.  I hate it when that happens... you meet a nice girl at the bar, you take her to dinner,  .. and boom!  She's working for your arch-enemy, but she's also like "It's not you, it's me... and my brother would murder you."  What the hell is that crap!!  One thing that I did learn, is that Cisco is way nicer that I am.  We spend two minutes with his brother and I would have let that guy die in a heartbeat.  I hope he got frost bite so bad that it burns when he masturbates....  what?  too much?

Speaking of people who are going to have to rub one out alone tonight: Barry Allen!  He just had to rush over and spill his feelings to Iris again.  Come on, be a man and bottle your feelings deep, deep down until one day it physically manifests as a malignant tumor.  It doesn't end any better for Barry as he catches a right cross to that beautiful baby face.  Barry had it coming though,  you don't share your feelings... o ya and her boyfriend will be pissed.

The Flash and team do manage to stop the Rogues by striking a deal.  You can steal stuff, but don't kill anyone?  Okay, it wasn't the best deal ever made by a superhero, but in trying to save his douche bag brother, Cisco had to reveal the man behind the mask to Captain Cold. With the threat of his identity exposed, Barry has no choice but to let the Rogues go free.  Don't worry though.. Barry made Captain Cold walk really far back to town.. because remember kids... it's about Justice... and maybe trying to bone Iris... but more Justice.  At the end of the Day, the Flash managed to not destroy all of time and space, and we will count that as a win.  Now,  let us pray to the Magic Future Newspaper and read forth from its headlines... see you next week!
