Star Wars fan Paul Michael Johnson has done some mighty impressive work here on his seven minute short film. His goal is to ultimately create a full blown series told from the Empire's point of view, but this short alone took him 4 years to draw and animate!
Who knows, maybe someone at Lucasfilm might sit up and take notice? And they really should. I don't know why this style of animation ever went out of fashion.
