September 3rd
Season 15 of Doctor Who got underway on this day in 1977, and so we begin our daily round-up of Who history with part one of Horror of Fang Rock, broadcast to an audience of 6.8 million viewers.

For our second episode which was broadcast on September 3rd, we have to jump forward to the Eleventh Doctor's era and the year 2011. Poor old Matt Smith's experiencing some Night Terrors, and not even the comfort of 7.07 million viewers is helping.

Related Programming
Over on the radio, back in 1993 the second part of the Third Doctor adventure The Paradise Of Death was broadcast on BBC Radio 5.

Also on this day, the Doctor Who Confidential team went behind the scenes of Night Terrors with an episode entitled About A Boy. Premiering at 7:45pm on BBC Three that Saturday September 3rd 2011.

Join us again tomorrow for another round-up of the episodes broadcast, the spin-offs, the special events, the birthday's celebrated and anything else of note that went down on this day in Doctor Who history.
