We get things underway in our daily round-up of the episodes receiving their premiere broadcast today in Doctor Who history we have the first episode of The Myth Makers, titled Temple of Secrets, which premiered on this day in 1965 at 5:50pm and was watched by 8.3 million viewers. Eleven years later, part three of The Hand Of Fear was watched by a very nice 11.1 million on that Saturday tea-time in 1976. That story, of course, featured fan-favourite companion Sarah Jane Smith, who returned with her own series for an adventure broadcast some 33 years later....


Spin-Offs
To complete today's round-up we have The Sarah Jane Adventures episode Prisoner of the Judoon or to be exact, part two of Prisoner of the Judoon which was broadcast October 16th 2009 and watched by 0.82 million viewers of CBBC's finest.
