Sherlock returns on January 1st

The day the nation has a massive hangover is also the day Sherlock returns to BBC1. Yep January 1st 2014 sees the return of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in 'The Empty Hearse'.

In a rather bizarre publicity stunt an almost empty hearse was spotted on this morning touring the streets of London with flowers in the back announcing the return date.

The 3 part series will continue on Sunday 5th Jan with 'The Sign Of Three' and a week later on Sunday 12th it's 'His Last Vow'.


We will all finally know for sure just how Sherlock faked his death.
