Nick Nolte cast in the US version of BROADCHURCH

We're really looking forward to seeing how the US version of Broadchurch pans out.

The show is being produced by FOX, it will go by the name Gracepoint and so far it's all been good news.

Chris Chibnall is writing the first episode, David Tennant is reprising his role as DI Alec Hardy and amongst the other cast members announced we have Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn.

Today FOX announced the news that veteran US movie star Nick Nolte will be playing Jack Reinhold, a stubborn and unmarried man who runs the kayak rental shop on the beach as well as the local wildfire observation program, where the murdered boy at the center of the story was a volunteer. This character is based on the one played by David Bradley in the original British version.

Production on Gracepoint will start in January for broadcast later in the year. Will you watch?
