We like what's going on with BBC America. Last year they served up the awesome Orphan Black and this year one of the highlights they're giving us is a new paranormal drama called The Intruders.
We're specifically excited to read that John Simm has been cast in the lead role. Simm will play Jack Whelan, a Los
Angeles cop-turned-writer who has escaped a dark, violent past for a
seemingly quiet life with his wife Amy. We assume that he does not get that quiet life he's looking for, in fact we know he doesn't because the press release goes on to tell us that Amy goes missing!!!
The Intruders is set in
the moody Pacific Northwest, where seemingly unrelated events start
happening. The thriller centers on a secret society devoted to pursuing
immortality by seeking refuge in the bodies of others. Multiple
storylines begin to interweave to reveal a conspiracy that will change
the understanding of human nature.
It all sounds quite interesting, and with John Simm on board we will definitely be watching, how about you?
