David Tennant as DI Alec Hardy on Gracepoint

Chris Chibnall is a busy man, not only is he hard at work writing series 2 of Broadchurch but he's serving as Executive Producer and penning the first episode of the US version, entitled Gracepoint.

The Radio Times have released a short video interview with Chris Chibnall. He reveals that in season 2 of Broadchurch "we're going on a different journey" and also explains why he wanted to be so involved with Gracepoint, "It's absolutely my baby. I wasn't just going to hand it over and run" he said...



The original Ellie Miller, Olivia Colman, spoke briefly about how lucky she thinks FOX is to have David Tennant reprise his role of Alec Hardy in Gracepoint. "He's the bollocks", she said...



Meanwhile, despite record breaking cold weather in Vancouver, filming continues on Gracepoint. David Tennant was featured on a local news report...



It's expected that the series will air in the US late Summer/early Autumn.
