We're big fans of The Americans, FX's superb cold war era espionage drama. Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell are perfectly cast as the Russian spies living deep undercover as husband and wife in 1980s America.

One thing we didn't know was that Joe Weisberg, the series creator, actually worked for the CIA, so he's got some intimate knowledge of the spy game.

The first season of The Americans is out on DVD and Blu-ray on March 3rd and one of the extras included on the disc sees the shows stars discuss some of the stories Joe Weisberg has shared with them about his work with the CIA...
