The film is shot in real time over 84 minutes and the only character you actually see is Tom Hardy's Ivan Locke, who is driving to London to be present at the birth of his child.
So it's 84 minutes of Tom Hardy in a car then? Well yes, but one phone call will force him to make a decision that will put it all on the line, Locke's life unravels in a race against time.
Some of the telephone voices we hear include those of Andrew Scott, Ben Daniels and Olivia Colman.
