MUPPETS MOST WANTED movie round-up - UPDATED 1/3 with new Ricky Gervais movie clip

There's been a flurry of promotional activity for the upcoming MUPPETS MOST WANTED over the last few says, so we've gathered it all up into one handy digest.

I have to be honest, I was initially hesitant about this film, the mistaken identity plot line seemed a bit old hat, and the Dr. Evil spoof was about 15 years too late, but with every new trailer I'm getting more and more excited. I'll be there on March 28th, when it opens in cinemas in the UK.

First up, a nice trailer featuring the opening number, a song about sequels...

Here's another trailer, featuring more of Kermit's nemesis, Constantine...

We all loved this bit of cross promotion, Ralph visits a drive-thru...

Finally, check out The Muppets Instagram account, where they've been taking selfies for the last few weeks, and they keep getting funnier...

UPDATE - 1/3 - Here's a newly released clip from the movie featuring Ricky Gervais' character, Dominc Badguy...

Disney's Muppets Most Wanted takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe's most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World's Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film also stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon. Directed by James Bobin and produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Bobin co-wrote the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller, who is also executive producer with John Scotti. Featuring music from Academy Award®-winning songwriter Bret McKenzie, Muppets Most Wanted arrives in UK cinemas on March 28th.
