It wasn't that dull...
Welcome to our daily round-up of the Doctor Who episodes which received their premiere broadcast on this day throughout the show's long history, along with anything else of note that may have taken place. You can click on any red text to read our full retrospectives/reviews for that episode, and note that all viewing figures listed are for UK broadcasts (unless otherwise stated).
July 15th
Look, we're only two episodes into Torchwood: Miracle Day and the bloated padding of the story has already sent John Barrowman to sleep!
Titled Rendition, the episode actually received its premiere on the U.S. cable channel Starz when it was broadcast on Friday July 15th 2011 at 10:00pm. Only .98 million viewers tuned in, but when it arrived in the UK the following week (on July 21st) it performed much better with a decent audience of 5.75 million viewers.
And that's all we have for today. It's down to those pesky Summer schedules. Join us again tomorrow for another round-up of the episodes
broadcast, the spin-offs, the special events, the birthday's celebrated
and anything else of note that went down on this day in Doctor Who
history.
