Er, honey. There seems to be three novelty condoms at the door...

September 25th
If that picture above doesn't scream 1960s Doctor Who then I don't know what does! Yes, the first episode in our daily round-up of all things Who comes from the decidedly wobbly period of the First Doctor's era. It's part 3 of Galaxy 4 (titled Air Lock) to be exact, and it was broadcast on September 25th 1965 and watched by a staggering 11.3 million viewers!

Not the biggest of days for Doctor Who episodes receiving their debut broadcasts but there is one more, and it's from 1976 when we have part four of The Masque of Mandragora. Broadcast to equally impressive numbers that Saturday evening at 6:12pm, as 10.6 million viewers tuned in to the classic Fourth Doctor adventure.

Join us again tomorrow for another round-up of the episodes broadcast, the spin-offs, the special events, the birthday's celebrated and anything else of note that went down on this day in Doctor Who history.
