October 30th
In a flip of our traditional fashion of rounding up all the episodes of Doctor Who which were broadcast on this day throughout the show's long history before moving on to the spin-offs and such, we start today's compilation with The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith. The Tenth Doctor's finally found his invite to The Sarah Jane Adventures story. He arrived late but hung around for episode two of the story, and 1.47 million CBBC viewers were there with him on October 30th 2009.

Episodes Broadcast
How about a story from the original, you might say? OK then, we've got the third episode of the First Doctor adventure The Myth Makers, titled Death of a Spy, it was broadcast on this day in 1965 and watched by 8.7 million viewers. Eleven years and three regenerations later, we finish today's round-up with part one of The Deadly Assassin which was watched by a mighty 11.8 million.

Join us again tomorrow for another round-up of the episodes broadcast, the spin-offs aired, the special events, the birthday's celebrated and anything else of note that went down on this day in Doctor Who history.
