November 5th
It's another busy day in our daily round-up of all things Doctor Who, although there's more spin-offs than actual episodes, but we'll get to them soon enough. First though, it's all missing from the archive now so we'll have to make do with the new animated version of the Second Doctor's debut adventure The Power of the Daleks. Episode one was broadcast for the one and only time at 5:49pm on November 5th 1966 and was watched by 7.9 million lucky viewers. I wonder how many of them remember, remember it? (See what we did there? November 5th?? Remember, remember??? We're wasted here you know.)

Also on this day we have part two of Image of the Fendahl, which was broadcast in 1977 and watched by 7.5 million viewers.

Spin-Offs
Spin-off time! And we start with the fourth Torchwood episode, titled Cyberwoman. Broadcast in 2006 at 10:00pm and watched by 1.39 million viewers.

The following year we have 1.8 million tuned in for part two of The Sarah Jane Adventures story Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane?. Then, in 2009 another episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures, part one of The Eternity Trap, was watched by 1.14 million viewers.

Finally for this day in Doctor Who history, on Saturday November 5th 2016 BBC Three released the fourth episode of the Doctor Who spin-off series Class, titled Co-Owner Of A Lonely Heart.

Join us again tomorrow for another round-up of the episodes broadcast, the spin-offs aired, the special events, the birthday's celebrated and anything else of note that went down on this day in Doctor Who history.
