Today's round-up of the Doctor Who episodes that premiered on this day throughout the show's history only brings us two adventures, and they were broadcast some 51 years apart. The first is part two of the First Doctor adventure Planet of Giants. Titled Dangerous Journey it was broadcast in 1964 at 5:15pm, and watched by 8.4 million viewers.

The second aired for the first time on Saturday November 7th 2015. The Zygon Inversion saw the Twelfth Doctor give an amazing speech about tolerance and understanding of others to the 6.03 million viewers that watched within seven days of broadcast, with 4.22 million of them watching live on the night.
