We will definitely get a new STAR WARS film every year from 2015

We've known for some time that Disney had a Star Wars master plan when they purchased Lucasfilm last year. As well as sequels, there was talk of producing stand alone movies featuring some of the more popular characters from the Star Wars universe. Jar Jar Binks for example - we're kidding, we're kidding!!!

The timescale had been a concern, with JJ Abrams pushing to postpone the release of Episode VII would this have a knock on effect for any future movies?

It seems not, as yesterday Walt Disney Chairman Alan Horn reiterated the plan that we will get a new "Star Wars sequel or spin off every year from 2015, starting with Star Wars VII."

We think there's plenty of room in the Star Wars universe to keep this up for many a year to come. With so many interesting characters who could benefit from more screen time to truly tell their story. Boba Fett, young Han Solo & Lando, an early Yoda film and of course Jar Jar's Big Adventure...

We're still kidding!!!!
