We recently learned that John Sullivan's sons had been working on some of his unfinished scripts for a possible revival of Only Fools And Horses. David Jason spoke about it during an interview with The Times, whilst promoting 'Still Open All Hours'.
He said, "I've had a quick look at the treatment and it's very good, but I'm saving the proper read-through until there are no distractions. It's not the sort of thing you can muck about with."
Well it seems he's had a chance for that proper read-through because according to tomorrows The Sun (Saturday 4th January 2014 edition) the BBC will be bringing the popular sit-com back once again.
It's been over 10 years since the last new episode was broadcast. There was a proposed outline for a Christmas special in 2011, but after creator and writer John Sullivan passed away in April of that year it was scrapped. We don't know if this is the script they have worked on, but if we do see Del Boy and Rodney back on our screens we'd bet a fiver that it's on Christmas Day.
