'Frank' is based on the life of Chris Sievey, who fronted punk group The Freshies and created his own comic persona, Frank Sidebottom.
In the movie Jon (Domhnall Gleeson) discovers he's bitten off more than he can chew when he joins an eccentric pop band led by the mysterious and enigmatic Frank.
