Good news. Broadchurch will return to ITV in January for its second series. Exactly what the plot is this time around is unknown, possibly even by DI Alec Hardy himself, aka David Tennant, as in the teaser trailer below he says "There was a boy, and he was killed. I caught the killer. So why am I still here?"...
...we can't help but wonder if any of our plot suggestions have been used.
Returning with David Tennant and Olivia Colman (DS Ellie Miller) are Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan and Arthur Darvill. Charlotte Rampling, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Meera Syal, James D'Arcy and Torchwood's Eve Myles also join the original cast for the new series.
