Thanks to Yahoo! you can check out the opening 9 minutes of Syfy’s upcoming series 12 Monkeys, which will premiere on Friday January 16th.
You've likely seen the Terry Gilliam movie, in this new small screen version will follow Aaron Stanford (X-Men) as Cole, the character played by Bruce Willis in the 1996 film, as he journeys from 2043 to the present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will all but annihilate the human race.
Along the way, Cole will team with Dr. Cassandra Railly (Amanda Schull, taking over for Madeleine Stowe) and a female mental patient named Jennifer Goines, played by Emily Hampshire, loosely based on the role of Jeffrey Goines played by Brad Pitt.
