Back in December 2013 we came across a little Kickstarter project called Kung Fury. What is Kung Fury you cry? Read on and all will be revealed...
Kung Fury is an over-the-top action comedy written and directed by David Sandberg. The movie features: arcade-robots, dinosaurs, nazis, vikings, norse gods, mutants and a super kung fu-cop called Kung Fury, all wrapped up in an retro style action packed adventure which takes in 1980s Miami, Asgard and Germany in the 1940s.

But wait, it gets better...
During an unfortunate series of events a friend of Kung Fury is assassinated by the most dangerous kung fu master criminal of all time; Adolf Hitler, a.k.a Kung Führer.
Don't you just hate it when Hitler does that!?!
Kung Fury decides to travel back in time to Nazi Germany, in order to kill Hitler and end the Nazi empire once and for all!
Director and star David Sandberg used his own cash to start filming and put together a mighty impressive trailer (which you can watch here), then to finish the film he launched a Kickstarter page, which was backed by more than 17,000 people who together gave more than $630,000!
Sandberg has now completed the project and released onto interweb. So if you like the sound of some Kung Fu action, cops, dinosaurs, dinosaur cops, vikings, time travel, Nazis, ass beatings, biceps, hacking, synth soundtrack, lasers, flips, kicks, blood, and severed limbs (phew) then you really really can't beat this.
Sit back, relax and enjoy 30 minutes of pure, unbridled joy. I guarantee you will love every single second of this...
Surely there's a 10 part Netflix series to be made from this?
