Titan Comics: Doctor Who Music Variants - David Bowie, Blondie and Bob Dylan UPDATE

Check out these cool Doctor Who album variant covers from Titan Comics...

Peter Capaldi, the Rock 'N Roll Doctor, has expressed his desire to have David Bowie guest star on the series. Whether that'll ever happen or not remains to be seen, but in the meantime Titan Comics and artist Simon Myers may have given us the next best thing...

This is the cover for The Twelfth Doctor Year 2 Issue #3, due for release in February 2016, and it's just one of Myers Doctor Who Album Variants. The following month in Issue #4 we'll have this...

Recognise that classic album cover? Yep, it's Blondie's Parallel Lines...

Myers got things underway with his variant for The Eighth Doctor Issue #1, which is out now (our review is here)...

What's that one? Why it's The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan of course!

Titan Comics promise more Doctor Who album variant covers in 2016, we'll keep our eyes peeled and bring them to you as they arrive.

UPDATE Jan 7th 2016
Well Titan did promise more, so how about a stunning Morrissey inspired cover variant for The Tenth Doctor #2.6.

The cover sees the Tenth Doctor as played by David Tennant in front of the iconic Salford Lads' Club, which The Smiths posed in front of the building for the inside cover of their album The Queen Is Dead.

More album inspired Doctor Who comic book covers when we get them.
