Look over there. Is that a second TINTIN movie on the horizon?

We were big fans of The Adventures Of Tintin movie that Steven Spielberg co-produced and directed a couple of years back. The motion capture was very impressive and it looked stunning, there were many moments when it was easy to forget that you're actually watching cartoon characters. The movie was supposed to be the first in a series of films, with the second installment being directed by the co-producer, Peter Jackson.

But then it went quiet.
Until somebody from the Italian website Bad Taste asked Peter Jackson just what was going on.

"We have every intention of doing another Tintin movie and it’s just waiting on me now. Waiting on me to be done with these Hobbit movies - pesky Hobbit movies.  Get them out of the way, and then we can go back to making Tintin.”

So we may just see that second film after all. And hopefully Steven 'Tin Tin' Moffy will be able to find time in his schedule to perform scripting duties for this one too.
