The first SpongeBob SquarePants movie arrived in 2004 when the show was at the height of it's popularity. The movie was surprisingly good too, featuring a very memorable cameo from David Hasselhoff. But the last decade has seen the quality of the show decline somewhat, its golden years are definitely in the past so it came as something of a surprise to hear that a new movie was being planned for 2015.
Well we've got the first trailer below, there's no Hasselhoff but there is Antonio Banderas and if this two and a half minutes is anything to go by then it's going to be pretty funny...
It looks surprisingly good.
