15 fictional bars from the world of television and cinema, but can you name what film/show they were featured in?
Yes, that's Moe's Tavern above, Homer Simpson's drinking establishment of choice for the last 30+ years and one of the most widely recognised fictional bars from film and television, and we've rounded up 15 more of them below. However, unlike Moe's Tavern and The Simpsons, we're not giving you the name of the film or show that featured the rest of these fictional bars, just a screengrab of its sign/logo for you to go by!
So, can you name where all 15 of these fictional bars originate from? Some are from film and some are from televsion. There are no prizes, it's just for entertainment, and in case you are going out of your mind trying to name them all there's a link to the answers at the bottom of the page. Of course, you could go looking on the internet for clues but you'd only be cheating yourself (sad face).
Oh, and before you say "where's Cheers?", two things. 1) They actually made a chain of theme bars called Cheers, so although it was fictional it became a real place (unfortunately it's not likely everybody knows your name there), and 2) Cheers would be just too damn easy and this quiz is, we think, a tough one! Let us know in the comments below which film or TV show you think these fictional bars appeared in. We reckon double digits is a pretty decent score (without cheating that is). Good luck...
1. The Bamboo Lounge
2. The Blue Oyster
3. Duke's Pub
4. El Rancho
5. Merlotte's Bar And Grill
6. The Green Dragon
7. Jack Rabbit Slim's
8. The Leaky Cauldron
9. LUX
10. MacLaren's Pub
11. P3
12. Paddy's Pub
13. Rick's Cafe American
14. Titty Twister
15. The Boar's Nest
So how many of these fictional bars from film and television did you recognise? Let us know the names of the movie/show they are from in the comments below...
